POWERGRID Fatehgarh launched 2 sub-station operation green plantation drive
POWERGRID as a responsible corporate citizen is undertaking the plantation drive of planting more than thousand trees in an endeavour to save the environment.

Fatehgarh: POWERGRID Fatehgarh 2 Sub-station launched Operation Green plantation drive in Fatehgarh 2 under construction Sub-station, Jaisalmer.
The event was launched by Shri Ashish Modi, District Collector, Jaisalmer in the gracious presence of Shri V. K. Singh, Director (Personnel) POWERGRID, Shri D. K. Singh, ED, NR-I, POWERGRID, Dr. Ajay Singh, SP, Jaisalmer and other senior officials.
POWERGRID as a responsible corporate citizen is undertaking the plantation drive of planting more than thousand trees in an endeavour to save the environment.
Speaking on this occasion, Shri Ashish Modi emphasised on taking more environmental steps like reducing usage of polythene. Dr. Ajay Singh who is an environment lover, expressed happiness and explained benefits of green power. Shri V. K. Singh explained how POWERGRID is implementing challenging projects across the country while working for the society through multifarious CSR activities and is sensitive towards environment. Shri D. K. Singh thanked all the participants and motivated all the employees for timely execution of the project.
