Powergrid honoured with SHRM Excellence Award
This is the first award that the SHRM body has awarded to any PSU in India and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has won the award after competing with almost a dozen PSU organizations and more than 360 organizations participating in the overall awards process.
New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has been declared the winner in the Excellence in Learning and Development (PSU) Category of SHRM Excellence Awards.
This is the first award that the SHRM body has awarded to any PSU in India and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has won the award after competing with almost a dozen PSU organizations and more than 360 organizations participating in the overall awards process.
The award is given to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited recognizing their ability to demonstrate success in learning initiatives that include training, development, and knowledge management. Learning includes the acquisition of knowledge(tacit & explicit), skills, behaviors, or competencies which are critical for organizational success.
The award was presented to Mr. K Sreekant, CMD, Power Grid, and Mr. V K Singh, Director Personnel, Power Grid in person at Power Grid Corporate Office.
