PNB Housing MD & CEO vacates his office today
Regulatory approvals are currently under process for the appointment of new Managing Director & CEO of the Company and disclosures will be made at the appropriate time.
New Delhi: Mr. Girish Kousgi, Managing Director and CEO of the Company, has vacated his office on the close of business hours today i.e., October 28, 2025. He had served his resignation in July. He didn't mention the exact reason, but it is said that there are some personal reasons and further career improvements.
Regulatory approvals are currently under process for the appointment of new Managing Director & CEO of the Company and disclosures will be made at the appropriate time. In the meantime, Mr. Jatul Anand, Executive Director, will lead the team with the guidance of the Board Chaired by Mr. D Surendran, Nominee Director from Punjab National Bank, the bank mentioned today in its bse filing.

Girish Kousgi is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of our Company. He holds an executive master’s diploma in business administration from Indian Institute of Commerce and Trade. He has over 21 years of experience in the financial services sector.
Previously, he was associated with Can Fin Homes Limited as managing director and chief executive officer, Tata Capital Financial Services Limited as head retail – credit & risk, IDFC Bank Limited as executive vice president and ICICI Bank Limited as joint general manager.
He is also serving as a director on the board of our Subsidiaries, namely PHFL Home Loans and Services Limited and PEHEL Foundation. He was appointed on our Board with effect from October 21, 2022.
