Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 at NTPC Mumbai Headquarters
Mumbai, 27th October 2025: As part of the nationwide observance of Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW-2025) from 27th October to 2nd November 2025, NTPC Western Region-I Headquarters, Mumbai continues to organize a series of activities promoting integrity and transparency in governance.
In line with the week-long awareness initiatives, a CDA Workshop was organized today by NTPC WR-I HQs, Mumbai. The session was conducted by Shri S. P. Singh, and was attended by all senior officials of Western Region-I Headquarters and the Nuclear Engineering Cell. The workshop focused on sensitizing employees towards the provisions of Conduct, Discipline, and Appeal (CDA) Rules, emphasizing adherence to ethical standards and accountability in professional conduct.
Earlier, the Vigilance Awareness Week commenced with the Integrity Pledge administered by Shri A. P. Samal, Chief General Manager (Nuclear), in the august presence of Shri P. R. Jena, General Manager (Commercial) and Ms. Vandana Chaturvedi, Regional Head of HR (West-I).
As part of the ongoing observance, NTPC has also released a Vigilance Awareness Jingle through Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, further spreading the message of integrity and ethical behavior among the general public.
Vigilance Awareness Week is one of the flagship initiatives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) to promote integrity, transparency, and good governance. The observance encourages all stakeholders to collectively contribute towards building a corruption-free society and strengthening ethical practices in public administration.
