Pralhad Joshi reviewed the status of coal availability in country

New Delhi: Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines, Govt Of India Shri Pralhad Joshi held a meeting with senior officials of Ministry of Coal, Government of India, and Coal India Limited to review the status of coal availability in the country.
According to Shri Joshi, So far, Coal India Limited has produced 413.6 MT coal in the FY 2021-22. Urged management to motivate CoalWarriors to strive towards achieving the annual target. Also reiterated the importance of "Production + Safety".
However, he advised officials to adhere to 100 days plan in order to achieve the annual target. Emphasized on prioritizing coal supplies to thermal power plants.
