PVUNL Achieves Commercial Operation Date (COD) for Unit#1

New Delhi: Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) is proud to announce the successful declaration of the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for its unit #1 ON 05.11.2025. This significant achievement marks a major milestone in PVUNL's commitment to enhancing the Jharkhand state power infrastructure and contributing to national energy security.

The plant is equipped with latest and new technology for suitable operations i.e with ultra super critical parameters for high efficiency, air cooled condenser for very minimal water consumption and 100% dry ash technology for 100% productive Ash usage. The unit 1 has undergone rigorous testing and stabilization, demonstrating its reliability and efficiency.

The declaration was celebrated in the presence of key officials, including Shri A.K. Sehgal, CEO (PVUNL) , Shri Anupam Mukherjee, CGM (Project) , Shri Manish Khetrapal, GM (O&M); Smt. Sangita Dash, GM (TS); Shri O.P. Solanki, GM (Maintenance); Shri Bishnu Dutta Dash, , GM (Project) and other officials of PVUNL.
