RINL Distributes Physical Aids and Assistive Devices also the financial support of Rs 10 Lakhs
Visakhapatnam: RINL- Visakhapatnam Steel Plant extended a financial support of Rs. 10 Lakhs under Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) initiative for free of cost distribution of Physical Aids & Assistive Devices to 110 beneficiaries with Disabilities (Divyangjan) at VMRDA Children’s Arena, Visakhapatnam on 08th Dec 2020
Shri Kishore Chandra Das, Director (Personnel), RINL inaugurated the distribution camp. Shri R. Govinda Rao, Joint Collector (Welfare), Visakhapatnam District, Shri Y. Balaji, ED (HR-Admn), RINL, Shri K. Satya Narayana, GM (CSR), RINL and Shri K.V.Rajesh, Manager(ALIMCO) and other officers of RINL and ALIMCO participated in the function. The project is executed by the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), a Mini Ratna Category II Central Public Sector Enterprise executed the project with financial assistance of RINL.
While addressing the beneficiaries, Shri Kishore Chandra Das highlighted the importance of this project which benefits the Persons with Disabilities from under privileged rural background. He also thanked the District Administration and ALIMCO for their efforts in identifying deserving beneficiaries from rural areas of Visakhapatnam District. He emphasized that it is the duty of RINL as a responsible corporate citizen to extend help to persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan).
