SAIL supplies E410 grade Steel Plates for Makru bridge in Manipur
The Makru bridge is located 189 km away from Imphal. It will connect the Assam and Manipur along with other key areas of the state.
New Delhi: SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) supplies E410 grade Steel Plates for Makru bridge in Manipur, which is India’s tallest 100 metre pier bridge built across river Makru in Tamenglong district of Manipur.
SAIL -RSP supplied 986 tonnes of high tensile E410 grade plates produced at its New Plate Mill for the construction of the bridge that is one of the key bridges of Imphal-Jiribam highway (NH 37). It will improve connectivity between Assam and Manipur.
Union Minister of Road and transport Shri Nitin Gadkari on monday inaugurates the Makru Bridge. The Makru bridge is located 189 km away from Imphal. It will connect the Assam and Manipur along with other key areas of the state.
