New Delhi: Shri Alok Kansal, General Manager/Western Railway inaugurated Hospital Management Information Units (HIMS), implemented by RailTel at Jagjivan Ram Hospital (Western Railway). Other senior Railway officers, doctors, and RailTel officials were present in this grand event.

Indian Railways with the objective of bringing hospital management on a single architecture to prevent pilferage and making operations seamless has entrusted RailTel with the implementation of a hospital management information system (HMIS). Apart from Indian Railways, RailTel is also implementing Hospital Management Information System for Karnataka State Govt. on POC basis. Also intends to provide this system for other state govt as well.
