TP Saurya Limited Commissions 200 MW Solar Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan
The Project is to be integrated into the Central Transmission Utility Bus to ensure the distribution of clean energy across the region and to generate 485 million units of clean energy while offsetting over 3,88,000 tonnes of carbon footprints annually.
TP Saurya Limited (TPSL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has announced the successful commissioning of a 200MW solar project located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, for Tata Power Trading Company Limited, a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited.
It is expected to generate an impressive 485 Million Units of energy annually and the project aligns with the Company’s mission to drive substantial contributions to India's renewable energy capacity. Furthermore, the project will be seamlessly integrated into the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) BUS, ensuring efficient distribution of clean energy across the region.

Additionally, the project involved the installation of approximately 5,23,365 modules. TPREL remains dedicated to pioneering innovative renewable energy projects and looks forward to continuing its journey towards a cleaner, greener future for India and beyond.
With the addition, the total renewables capacity of TPREL reached 9,018 MW (PPA capacity is 7,632 MW) including 4,547 MW projects under various stages of implementation and its operational capacity is 4,471 MW, which includes 3,444 MW solar and 1,027 MW wind.
