ACME Solar Appoints Yogesh Sanklecha as Head of Business Development to Drive 10 GW Goal
ACME Solar Holdings Ltd (ACME Solar), a leading integrated renewable energy player, announced a key leadership elevation today. Based on the recommendation of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the company has promoted Yogesh Kumar Sanklecha as the Head of Business Development. Effective January 15, 2026, he has also been designated as Senior Management Personnel of the company.
In his elevated role, Mr. Sanklecha will head all commercial functions across the group, playing a central role in driving ACME Solar's strategic growth.
Profile of Yogesh Kumar Sanklecha:
An MBA Gold Medallist, Mr. Sanklecha is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of association with the ACME Group. During his long tenure, he has held several leadership positions across diverse functions and has been instrumental in shaping the organization's growth trajectory.
In recent years at ACME Solar, he has spearheaded multiple strategic initiatives and has been responsible for driving significant growth in the renewable business, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the sector.
Strategic Mandate:
As the new Head of Business Development, Mr. Sanklecha is expected to be a key enabler in advancing ACME Solar's ambitious goal to reach 10 GW of operational capacity by 2030. He will continue to be responsible for end-to-end stakeholder management, from project bidding through to commissioning, as an integral member of the company's leadership team.
