ACME Solar Commissions 12 MW Wind Capacity in Gujarat, Total Hits 68 MW
New Delhi: ACME Solar Holdings Limited, a leading integrated renewable energy player, announced a key milestone today. Its subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd, has successfully commissioned an additional 12 MW of its wind power project located in Surendranagar, Gujarat.
This latest addition brings the project's total operational capacity to 68 MW. The project, which is being developed in phases, has a total planned capacity of 100 MW.
Project & Financing Details:
The wind power project has been financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC). Leveraging its in-house Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) capabilities, ACME deployed SANY's 4 MW wind turbines for the development. The power generated from the project will be supplied under a long-term 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
The commissioning of this 12 MW tranche was officially witnessed by representatives from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL). The event has been recorded in the commissioning Minutes of Meeting (MOM), with the formal certificate expected to be issued shortly.
