New Delhi: ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced the commissioning of additional capacity at its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening India’s renewable energy infrastructure.

The update was shared under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

 

New BESS Capacity Commissioned in Bikaner

The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Surya Power Private Limited, has successfully commissioned 35.715 MW / 160.512 MWh of additional BESS capacity at Village Jaimalsar, District Bikaner, Rajasthan on May 11, 2026.

The Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the newly added capacity has been scheduled for May 13, 2026.

Total Commissioned Energy Storage Capacity Reaches 210.938 MW

With the latest commissioning, ACME Surya Power has achieved a cumulative commissioned BESS capacity of 210.938 MW / 947.899 MWh.

This milestone strengthens the company’s role in enabling:

  • Grid stability and reliability

  • Efficient renewable energy integration

  • Peak load management

  • Enhanced energy security

Battery Energy Storage Systems play a critical role in managing intermittency in renewable energy generation and supporting India’s transition toward a cleaner power ecosystem.
