POWERGRID Q1 profit rises 9% at Rs 1137 crore

 

Mumbai, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited  has posted a net profit of Rs 1137 crore for the first quarter of FY 2014-15 an increase of 9% against Rs 1040 crore reported during the corresponding quarter ended June 30, 2013.Total Income (turnover) for first quarter (April-June, 2014), rose to Rs 4075 crore, up by 12% from Rs 3634 crore in the corresponding year-ago period.
