Appointment Committee of Cabinet approves PESB recommendations in major PSUs

New Delhi, 23 August 2025: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas for the appointment of Shri Romon Sebastian Louis, Executive Director, Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited (BLC), to the post of Director (Services Business), BLC, for a period of five years w.e.f. the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

Dr. Harikrishnan S., Executive Director, Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), is appointed to the post of Director (Operations), CSL, with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation, i.e., 31.05.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Shri Amal Kumar Chakrabarty, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), has been appointed to the post of Director (Finance), Troop Comforts Ltd (TCL).

Shri Manas Kaviraj, Sr. Executive Director, NBCC India Limited, was appointed to the post of Director (Human Resources), Advanced Weapons & Equipment India Limited (AWEIL).

Shri Ramesh Chandra Mohapatra, General Manager (GM), Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), is appointed to the post of Director (Technical), South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation, i.e., 31.05.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Shri Rajesh Gopalakrishnan, Executive Director, Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), is appointed to the post of Director (Technical), CSL, for a period of five years w.e.f. the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
