Bharat Dynamics Limited Promotes Five Officials to General Manager; One Senior Executive Retires

Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has announced significant changes in its senior management following the Departmental Promotions for 2024–25. In a regulatory filing dated December 1, 2025, the company informed the stock exchanges that five officials have been elevated to the rank of General Manager, effective January 1, 2025.

According to the disclosure, Shri M. Sampath Kumar has been promoted to General Manager after previously heading the Konkurs-M Division as Additional General Manager. Smt. Cheena G has also assumed the position of General Manager, having earlier led the New Projects Division. Shri H. Shankara Narayana, who served as Additional General Manager heading the VL-SRSAM Project Division, has similarly been elevated to General Manager.

In addition, Shri K. Srihari has been promoted to General Manager, bringing his earlier experience as head of Finance at the Kanchanbagh and Bhanur Units. Smt. Yalamanchili Ushasri, formerly in charge of the MRSAM Division, has also taken charge as General Manager following her elevation.

BDL further informed that Shri H. Shankara Narayana, who was serving as General Manager (VL-SRSAM Project), has retired on November 30, 2025, upon attaining the age of superannuation.
