Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, has published a new tender for the supply of various forgings, including rings, sealing rings, and U-rings, for its Heavy Engineering Equipment Plant (HEEP) in Haridwar.

The bid, GEM/2025/B/7029919, is open for submission until January 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM, with the opening scheduled for 5:30 PM on the same day. The bid will remain valid for 90 days from the closing date.

Items and Delivery:
The tender includes 10 schedules covering different forgings. Delivery periods range from 30 to 105 days from contract start, with the primary consignee being Central Plant Stores, BHEL, Haridwar. Local content requirements are minimum 50% for Class 1 and 20% for Class 2 suppliers.

Payment & Inspection:

  • Payments will be made within 90 days after consignee receipt and online bill submission.

  • Pre-dispatch and post-receipt inspections will be conducted, with pre-dispatch inspection fees borne by the buyer.

Other Conditions:

  • Warranty period of 2 years from final acceptance of goods.

  • Bidders must comply with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.

  • Consortiums and manufacturer authorizations are allowed with proper documentation.

  • Only Class I and Class II local suppliers can participate, and bidders from countries sharing a land border with India must be registered with the Competent Authority.
