Chhattisgarh: Shri. Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, CIL chaired a review meeting at South Eastern Coalfields at its headquarters in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. SECL CMD Shri. A. P. Panda, Director (Personnel) Dr. R. S. Jha, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri. B. P. Sharma, Director (Technical) Operations Shri. M. K. Prasad, Director (Finance) Shri. S. M. Chaudhury, Shri. M. K. Singh, TS to Chairman and other officers were present during the meeting.
Area General Manager from all areas of SECL were connected through Video conferencing during the meeting.
CIL Chairman reviewed the performance of the company, understood issues in each area of SECL and gave directions for betterment. The main emphasis was on increasing Coal production and productivity in SECL as, since formation, it has been the largest Coal producing subsidiary of Coal India Limited.
