CIL Chief Vigilance Officer Inspects Tech Upgrades at BCCL’s Sijua and Katras Fields

Dhanbad: In a bid to further reinforce institutional transparency and zero-tolerance governance models across India's coal mining sector, the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Coal India Limited (CIL), Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, concluded a high-level two-day inspectorial tour of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL).

The second leg of his executive visit focused closely on auditing digital infrastructure and automated surveillance frameworks across BCCL’s critical Sijua and Katras Area operational hubs.

A core focus of the leadership’s itinerary was an exhaustive operational assessment conducted at the Integrated Command & Control Centres (ICCC) across both the Sijua and Katras administrative divisions. Following the system audits, the focus shifted to workforce development at Prajwala Hall, situated within the Management Trainees' Hostel. The leadership team reviewed detailed analytical presentations mapping out the production roadmaps and infrastructural benchmarks achieved by the Sijua and Katras teams.

Addressing a gathering of newly inducted Management Trainees, Tripathy underlined that corporate vigilance functions as a growth enabler rather than an administrative roadblock.
