CMD B.P. Singh Leads Inspection of Smelter, CPP and Utkal D & E Coal Mines in Odisha
CMD Shri B.P. Singh, along with Director (Production) Shri P.K. Sharma and Director (HR) Dr. T.K. Pattanayak, visited the S&P Complex and Utkal D & E Coal Mines in Angul, Odisha to review key operations, including the Smelter Plant and Captive Power Plant.
New Delhi: Shri B.P. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing operations during his visit to the Smelter & Power (S&P) Complex at Angul, Odisha. He was accompanied by Shri P.K. Sharma, Director (Production), and Dr. T.K. Pattanayak, Director (Human Resources).
During the visit, the leadership team also inspected the Coal Mines division, including the Utkal D & Utkal E Coal Mines. The review covered major operational areas and ongoing activities across the Smelter Plant, Captive Power Plant (CPP), and the coal mining units.
The executives assessed the current status of work, examined the progress of key projects, and interacted with teams involved in plant and mine operations. The visit reflected the management’s continued focus on operational efficiency, safety, and timely execution of strategic initiatives at the Angul complexes.
The review underscored the organisation’s commitment to strengthening production capabilities through close monitoring and sustained leadership engagement.
