CMPDI CMD Reviews RI-V Performance at Bilaspur

Shri Chaudhari Shivraj Singh, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Ltd. (CMPDI), accompanied by Shri R. K. Singh, Executive Director (Exploration), Coal India Limited, visited RI-V, Bilaspur on 15th January 2026 to conduct a detailed review meeting assessing the institute's performance.

During the visit, the RI-V team presented a comprehensive overview of the institute's major activities, ongoing projects, and recent achievements, highlighting progress in research, exploration, and operational support for coal mining initiatives.

Addressing the gathering, CMD Shri Chaudhari Shivraj Singh emphasized the importance of streamlining office management and leveraging modern technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency. The CMD encouraged the institute to adopt innovative practices in research, data analysis, and digital operations to strengthen CMPDI’s strategic role in the coal sector.

The review meeting was attended by Shri Manoj Kumar, Regional Director (RD), RI-V, along with other senior officials and key department heads. The discussions focused on performance improvement, technology integration, and future planning for sustainable growth.
