Coal India chairman Sutirtha Bhattacharya receives Best CEO-PSU awards from Forbes
Kolkata: Sutirtha Bhattacharya, chairman of Coal India was conferred the Best CEO -PSU Award in the Sixth edition of the Forbes India Leadership Awards – 2016 for having engineered the turnaround of Coal India by streamlining its operations with advanced technologies and also addressing environmental concerns.
“Bhattacharya was the unanimous choice of the jury for the award in the PSU category for his leadership qualities and vision,” Coal India, the state-owned miner, said in a statement.
