GAIL Launches Commercial PNG Supply at Cuttack CDA Sector-9 | National PNG Drive 2.0

New Delhi, 17th February 2026: In a major boost to sustainable energy adoption, GAIL (India) Limited has commenced the supply of Commercial Piped Natural Gas (C-PNG) at CDA Sector-9, Cuttack, as part of the National PNG Drive 2.0. The initiative reinforces India’s commitment to cleaner, efficient, and environmentally friendly fuel alternatives.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Bhartruhari Mahtab, along with Hon’ble MLA Cuttack Sadar Shri Prakash Chandra Sethi and Hon’ble District President Shri Sukant Biswal, in the presence of senior GAIL officials.

During the event, Brulee Coffee House, one of the first commercial beneficiaries, shared their smooth transition from conventional fuels to PNG, emphasizing the cost-effectiveness, safety, and operational efficiency of piped natural gas. They also lauded GAIL for its streamlined process, from registration to commissioning.

This step is part of GAIL’s broader plan to expand the reach of C-PNG across urban and semi-urban commercial sectors, supporting India’s green energy goals while reducing dependence on traditional fuel sources.
