New Delhi, 17 February 2026: The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that Shri Udatha Sudhakar (IRSE), currently serving as ADRM/GTL, SCR, has been selected for deputation to Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) as Chief Project Manager (Civil) at Chennai.

The deputation will be on standard terms, i.e., parent pay plus deputation allowance, and will continue up to his superannuation on 31 July 2030, unless extended or curtailed by competent authority orders. SCR has been requested to relieve Shri Sudhakar for the new assignment and communicate the date of relief to the concerned authorities.

This appointment comes under the Ministry of Railways’ framework for deputations, aimed at strengthening project execution and infrastructure development in strategic railway projects under RVNL. Shri Sudhakar brings over two decades of experience in Indian Railways, having joined the IRSE cadre on 30 January 2002, and has previously served in key project management and civil engineering roles across South Central Railway.
