Coal India Limited organised a one-day workshop on RTI Act with emphasis on role of PIOs & FAAs at its corporate headquarters in Kolkata. Shri B.K. Tripathy, CVO CIL, inaugurated the workshop.

The role and obligations of the CPIO/FAA/Head of Institutions/Nodal Officer under RTI were discussed at the session, as well as the principles of the RTI Act, 2005, in terms of various Court judgements.
