New Delhi, January 31, 2026: State-owned Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) on Friday informed stock exchanges that its Chairman and Managing Director, Madhu Sankunny Nair, has retired from the services of the company upon attaining superannuation, effective January 31, 2026.

Following his retirement, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has entrusted Jose V J, Director (Finance) of Cochin Shipyard, with the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director. The appointment will be effective from February 1, 2026, for a period of three months or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
