DMRC hosted its first ever Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament
After several rounds of intense matches, the tournament culminated in a thrilling final showdown today between Operations-I team and General Project team.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) hosted its first ever Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament from 4th to 12th March 2025. The tournament saw an impressive turnout, with a total of 14 teams (including two women teams) participating from different departments.
After several rounds of intense matches, the tournament culminated in a thrilling final showdown today between Operations-I team and General Project team. In a display of exceptional skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, the Operations-I team emerged victorious.
The event was graced by Dr. Vikas Kumar, MD/ DMRC, Dr. Shalini Singh, President, Delhi Metro Ladies Welfare Organisation (DLWO) along with other senior officials. Their attendance not only added to the grandeur of the occasion but also served as a testament to the DMRC's commitment to fostering a culture of camaraderie, healthy competition, and employee engagement beyond the realm of their professional duties.
A cricket match involving the women employees of DMRC was also organised prior to the final match.
