During the training, participants received practical guidance on Unicode-based Hindi typing, keyboard layouts and digital tools used for official work. The sessions also included hands-on exercises that enabled employees to improve their typing speed, accuracy and confidence while working in Hindi.

The interactive programme received an encouraging response, with participants actively engaging in practical demonstrations and gaining valuable experience in using Hindi for digital office operations.

ECL said such capacity-building initiatives are part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the implementation of the Official Language Policy across the organisation while equipping employees with the skills required for efficient digital communication in Hindi.

The company plans to continue organising similar training programmes to promote the greater use of Hindi in official work and support a more inclusive and effective administrative environment.
