G. Kishan Reddy Launches GSI Next Generation Portal to Boost Digital Access in Mining Sector
G. Kishan Reddy launched the Next Generation Portal of Geological Survey of India to enhance digital access, transparency and geoscience data dissemination in the mining sector.
Union Minister for Coal & Mines, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, launched the “Next Generation Portal (Portal-NG)” of the Geological Survey of India (GSI) in the presence of Shri Piyush Goyal, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, and Shri Sanjay Lohia, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Mines.
The Portal-NG aims to enhance digital access, transparency and efficiency in the dissemination of geological data. The platform will provide integrated, user-friendly access to geoscience information, facilitating research, exploration and informed decision-making in the mining sector.
