Hyderabad, February 12, 2026: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., has launched its all-new electric three-wheeler, the Mahindra UDO (उड़ो), priced at ₹3,84,299 (ex-showroom). The company is offering a limited-period introductory price of ₹3,58,999.

The Mahindra UDO is positioned as a next-generation L5M electric auto aimed at redefining last-mile transportation with improved comfort, safety, and performance.

Design and Construction

Inspired by aviation, the UDO features an “autoplane” concept with a sleek and aerodynamic design. It is built on a segment-first full monocoque construction, offering enhanced structural strength and improved ride quality.

Exterior highlights include bold headlamps, stylish mirrors, and a large windshield for better visibility and road presence.

The vehicle has been designed by Pratap Bose and the team at Mahindra India Design Studio.

Comfort and Ride Quality

The UDO focuses heavily on driver and passenger comfort. It features a specially designed ‘pilot seat’ for the driver, which is nearly 20% thicker than seats in comparable vehicles. Passenger seating offers generous headroom and legroom for improved comfort during longer journeys.

Ride quality is supported by:

  • Independent rear suspension

  • Dual fork front suspension

  • 30.48 cm tubeless tyres

Performance and Range

The Mahindra UDO delivers a 200 km real-world driving range and a 265 km ARAI-certified range, making it one of the most energy-efficient vehicles in its segment.

Key specifications include:

  • 11.7 kWh IP67-rated lithium-ion battery

  • 10 kW peak power

  • 52 Nm torque

  • Top speed of 55 km/h (Race mode)

The vehicle offers three driving modes — Range, Ride, and Race — allowing drivers to optimize efficiency or performance as needed.

Segment-first features include:

  • Reverse throttle for enhanced control and extended range

  • Regenerative braking

  • Hill Hold Assist

  • Creep function for ease in traffic

Safety and Warranty

The UDO comes with:

  • Powerful drum brakes (as per internal tests, least braking distance in segment)

  • IP67-rated battery, drivetrain and charger

  • Warranty of 6 years or 1.5 lakh km (whichever earlier)

  • Industry-first free services up to 1 lakh km

Customers are also enrolled in the UDAY NXT scheme, which includes ₹20 lakh accidental insurance and financial counselling benefits.

Manufacturing and Investment

The Mahindra UDO is manufactured at the company’s Zaheerabad plant in Telangana. Mahindra has invested ₹218 crore in upgrading the facility with advanced manufacturing systems, including:

  • Automated laser welding battery pack line

  • Fully automated paint shop

  • Body-in-White assembly line

The plant has an annual capacity of 160,000 units (in two shifts), with current utilization at 90,000 units.

With the launch of the UDO, the company aims to further strengthen its position in India’s growing electric three-wheeler market.
