GAIL revises completion schedule for 1702 Km long MNPL Pipeline project
New Delhi, September 24, 2025: State-owned GAIL (India) Ltd. has revised the completion schedule for the MUMBAI-NAGPUR-JHARSUGUDA PIPELINE PROJECT (MNPL), which is 1702 km long. It was approved by the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on 24.09.2025.
• Mumbai–Nagpur Pipeline (Part-A): 693 Km
• Nagpur-Jharsuguda Pipeline (Part-B): 692 Km
• Nagpur-Jabalpur Pipeline (Part-C): 317 Km
The revision date has been shifted from 30th September 2025 to 31st December 2025 progressively.
Mumbai-Nagpur Pipeline (Part-A): The pipeline is mechanically completed. PESO site inspection completed, permission awaited.
Nagpur-Jharsuguda Pipeline (Part-B): Odisha and Chhattisgarh (489 Km)—Thepipeline is mechanically completed and ready for gas-in. PESO site inspection completed, permission awaited.
Maharashtra (203 km): Pipeline work of around 9 km is balanced. The work is in progress and expected to be ready for gas-in by December 2025.
Nagpur-Jabalpur Pipeline (Part C): Madhya Pradesh (255 Km): The pipeline is mechanically completed.
Maharashtra (62 Km): Pipeline work of around 1.8 Km is balanced and is expected to be completed by October, 2025.
Therefore, the entire Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda pipeline is expected to be completed progressively by 31st December 2025.
