Hindustan Zinc will pay 2250 Cr to Govt as interim dividend for FY 2021-22
The dividend will be shared with all shareholders of the company which will be approx Rs 7600 Cr whereas Govt. of India will receive a dividend of Rs 2250 Cr as a shareholder.

NEW DELHI: Vedanta Limited subsidiary, Hindustan Zinc Limited, an Indian integrated mining, and resources producer of zinc, lead, silver, and cadmium, which is also previously a Central Public Sector Undertaking on Tuesday announced the approval of interim dividend of Rs 18 per equity share for FY 2021-22.
The dividend will be shared with all shareholders of the company which will be approx Rs 7600 Cr whereas Govt. of India will receive a dividend of Rs 2250 Cr as a shareholder.
On Tuesday HZL CEO tweets, "I'm pleased to announce @Hindustan_Zinc Board of Directors has approved an interim dividend of Rs 18 per equity share for FY 2021-22 to be given to all our esteemed shareholders. This'll be approx Rs 7600 Cr where Govt. of India will receive a dividend of Rs 2250 Cr as a shareholder."
He further added, The total exchequer contribution would be approx Rs 2800 Cr. I thank our employees, business partners & stakeholders for their trust & support in our collective purpose towards Nation Building."
