New Delhi, July, 2025: Shri Praveen Kumar, Managing Director, DFCCIL has inaugurated the New Sanjali Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal in Gujarat which is reportedly the nation’s first terminal developed on private land under the Gati Shakti Policy (Schedule 1) on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor.

This state-of-the-art facility, developed in partnership with the Saawariya Group, marks a major milestone in India's logistics transformation. The terminal is set to become a strategic freight hub, enabling high-speed, high-capacity cargo movement, multimodal integration, and a shift toward greener, more efficient logistics.

The event was attended by senior officials from DFCCIL, representatives from Indian Railways, and key leadership from the Saawariya Group, the private developer of the terminal.

The company has stated that this would be embraced as a giant leap forward under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan - building the backbone of Viksit Bharat.
