MCL celebrates Ambedkar Jayanti

Sambalpur, 14th April 2025: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) commemorated the Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr B.R. Ambedkar with great reverence and enthusiasm on Monday, 14th April 2025.
A special ceremony was held at the company's headquarters in Sambalpur, where Shri Keshav Rao, Director (HR), MCL, offered floral tributes and garlanded the portrait of the principal architect of the Indian Constitution. The event was attended by senior officials, employees, and staff members who gathered to honor Dr Ambedkar’s unparalleled contribution to the nation.

The occasion reflected on Dr Ambedkar's enduring legacy, his relentless fight for social justice, and his pivotal role in shaping modern India. A discussion followed the floral tribute, focusing on his life, principles, and teachings, which continue to inspire generations.
Similarly, floral tributes were paid to Dr Ambedkar at all the units and Area offices of MCL located in the Angul, Jharsuguda, and Sundargarh districts of Odisha.
