MECL CMD represents company in bilateral meeting held between India and Bolivia

Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), MECL Shri Indra Dev Narayan represented the company in a bilateral meeting held on 18th June 2025 between India and Bolivia. Shri Surendra Singh Kshatriya, Director (Finance) and senior officials were also present in the meeting.,

The meeting was co-chaired by Shri Vivek Kumar Bajpai, Joint Secretary (International Cooperation), Ministry of Mines, and H.E. Mr. Álvaro Hernán Arnez Prado, Vice Minister of Alternative Energies, Bolivia. 

Representatives from the Ministry of External Affairs, Embassy officials, public sector undertakings, and private players engaged in critical minerals participated. The discussions focused on enhancing India–Bolivia collaboration in the critical minerals sector, particularly in exploration and value chain partnerships.

Shri Indra Dev Narayan highlighted MECL’s position as India’s leading public sector agency for mineral exploration, with decades of experience in geological investigations and resource evaluation. He expressed MECL’s keen interest in collaborating with partner countries like Bolivia, noting that MECL, through its joint venture KABIL, is already extending its expertise to countries such as Argentina in the critical minerals domain
