NEW DELHI- Shri Bhola Singh, Chairman, and Managing Director, Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) on Thursday visited Block-B area and inspected CHP, nearby LC gate area, and Gorbi mine given to NTPC Limited for fly ash filing.
He reiterated NCL's commitment to sustainable mining and directed for pro-environmental initiatives.
Earlier the NCL provided its Gorbi coal mine to NTPC Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Station, the country's largest thermal power station, for backfilling fly ash driven out from the plant during the process of electricity generation.
