NTPC Extends KAWACH Scheme
New Delhi: NTPC extends “KAWACH” Scheme for NTPC Family members. and will cover Covid-19 treatment. NTPC has tied up with Apollo Group (Apollo Home health Care), to provide necessary medical support called “KAWACH” for NTPCemployees, their dependent family members and retired employees (PRMS beneficiaries) to Covid positive cases undergoing treatment under home isolation.
It is a comprehensive approach to encompass allwho are found to be Covid positive and all aspects from information In majority of cases, however, when an individual is tested positive, he or she is not required to be hospitalized, if not serious, and can be treated under home isolation.
A person, when tested COVID positive, not only requires physical support such as presence ofdoctors, paramedical staff, medicine etc., but also requires psychological and emotional help in order to deal with the stress.
