NTPC Limited, under the Ministry of Power, has invited bids on GeM for the procurement of two sets of Moisture Analyzers. The bid (GEM/2025/B/6929624), issued on 5th December 2025, will close on 19th December 2025 at 16:00 hours, with opening scheduled for the same day at 16:30 hours. The bid is valid for 120 days from the end date and follows a two-packet evaluation method considering both technical and financial documents. The delivery period for the equipment, including supply, installation, and commissioning, is 90 days.
The bid emphasizes compliance with Make-in-India and MSE policies. Class 1 and Class 2 local suppliers must meet minimum local content requirements of 50% and 20%, respectively, to qualify for purchase preference. Make-in-India suppliers can avail a purchase preference up to L1+20%, while eligible MSE OEMs can avail preference up to L1+15%. The bid does not require EMD or ePBG, and bid splitting is not applied. Additionally, the bid includes specific ATC clauses added by the buyer, and any grievances or objections can be raised by bidders within four days of bid publication through the GeM platform.
The consignee for the procurement is Dr. Rajendra Kumar Saini, located at E-3, Ecotech-II, Udyog Vihar, Greater Noida. All GeM sellers and service providers participating in this bid are required to comply with applicable labour laws, including provisions under the four Labour Codes, and adhere to the restrictions on procurement from countries sharing land borders with India, as per GeM GTC clause 26. The bid also requires sellers to submit necessary certificates, OEM authorization, compliance documents, and any additional documents as per the buyer’s ATC.
