NTPC Green Invites Bids for 132 kV GIS Substation at Pudimadaka Hydrogen Hub

New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, has invited bids for developing a comprehensive 132 kV GIS-based substation at the Green Hydrogen Hub in Pudimadaka, Andhra Pradesh. Released under IFB No. NGEL-CS-5861-GH2HUB-PSE-PUD-1-001, the tender calls for qualified contractors to handle everything from design and engineering to manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of critical power infrastructure.

The project involves setting up a 132/33 kV substation with 80 MVA transformers, 132 kV GIS, medium and low-voltage switchgear, protection systems, SCADA, and advanced automation. Beyond equipment, the scope covers essential grid infrastructure—cable systems, earthing, surge and lightning protection, AC/DC power supplies—and seamless integration with APTRANSCO's network.

 

Bidders must satisfy strict technical and financial requirements, proving their track record in large-scale substation and EPC work. The entire project—from design through supply, installation, and commissioning—is structured to ensure dependable power delivery for NTPC's green hydrogen operations.
