NTPC launches 3-month-long Vigilance Awareness campaign ahead of VAW 2025
NTPC Ltd. has launched a 3 month vigilance awareness campaign from 18 August to 17 November 2025. The initiative focuses on transparency, accountability, and stakeholder participation across India.

Mumbai, August 19th 2025: India’s largest integrated power utility, NTPC Ltd. launched a 3-month- long ‘Vigilance Awareness Campaign’ from 18th August to 17th November 2025.
The campaign was inaugurated on 18th August 2025 by Ms Rashmita Jha, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), NTPC, at Scope complex, New Delhi. The Vigilance officers across the NTPC offices took part in the program through video conference.

Emphasizing the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” the CVO urged all vigilance executives to focus on key areas mandated by the Central Vigilance Commission—timely disposal of pending complaints and cases, capacity building through platforms like iGOT Karamyogi, effective asset management, and strengthening digital initiatives for improved transparency.
She stressed involving all stakeholders—employees, vendors, and the public—for wider impact, encouraging creative outreach through plays, quizzes, videos, jingles, and vendor meets.
Commending the success of last year’s campaign, the CVO expressed confidence that this year’s efforts would further promote NTPC’s commitment to integrity and transparency.
NTPC Ltd. is India's largest integrated power utility, contributing one-fourth of the India’s power requirements and has an installed capacity of 83 GW, with an additional capacity of 30.90 GW under construction, including 13.3 GW of renewable energy capacity. The company is committed to achieving 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.
