Oil and Natural Gas Corporation announces the retirement of Executive Director Santanu Mukherjee, effective December 1, 2025, as per SEBI (LODR) regulations.
New Delhi, December 2, 2025 – Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), India’s leading public sector oil and gas company, has announced a change in its senior management. Mr. Santanu Mukherjee, who served as Executive Director, has superannuated effective 01 December 2025.
This update, communicated to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and BSE, reflects a routine change at one level below the Board. ONGC confirmed that the disclosure has been made in accordance with Regulation 30 and Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Shashi Bhushan Singh, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer at ONGC, stated that the change is “for the information and record of stock exchanges,” underscoring the company’s commitment to regulatory compliance and transparency.
Mr. Mukherjee’s retirement marks the conclusion of his tenure as Executive Director, during which he contributed significantly to the operational and strategic functions of India’s flagship energy company.
