NEW DELHI. September 23, 2016 Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) declared as the 3rd Fastest Growing Electric Utility in the world. It is again the “Fastest Growing Electric Utility in Asia’ marking a hat- trick for the third consecutive year in the industry category Electric Utilities and ranked as 19th Fastest Growing Energy Company, globally.
The Company has earned # 92 position in the recently declared 2016 Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings, thereby making its entry into the top 100 for the first time. POWERGRID’s rank moved up 37 positions over its last year’s rank, #129.
