R P Gupta terminated as SECI Chairman with immediate effect

New Delhi : The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has terminated Rameshwar Prasad Gupta (Retd IAS: 1987: GJ), who is currently serving as the Chairman of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) with immediate effect.

His tenure lasted for thirty-four days ahead of the scheduled end of his tenure.

R P Gupta was appointed SECI chairman June 15, 2023, and was scheduled to complete his tenure as SECI Chairman on June 14, 2025.
