RECPDCL gets new subsidiary Balsane Power Transmission Ltd incorporated

New Delhi: The Balsane Power Transmission Limited has been incorporated as Wholly Owned Subsidiary of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited ("RECPDCL" is a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of REC Limited) with authorized and paid capital of Rs 5 lakh each. The PSU company has informed the exchanges.

The said company is also subsidiary company of REC Limited, in terms of the provisions of Section 2(87) of the Companies Act, 2013.

Background:

The Government of Maharashtra on October 3, 2025 had allocated one intra-state transmission project, wherein REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has been appointed to act as Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) for the purpose of selection of Bidder for Establishment of 765/ 4001220kV AIS Balsane (Dist. Dhule).

For this, Balsane Power Transmission Limited has been incorporated on December 18, 2025. After selection of the successful bidder in accordance with the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines, the respective company would be transferred to the successful bidder along with all assets & liabilities.

The Company has been incorporated for the Establishment of 765 / 4001220kV AIS Balsane (Dist. Dhule).
