SECL Headquarters Bids Emotional Farewell to Three Retiring Employees
NEW Delhi: South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Headquarters, Bilaspur, accorded a heartfelt farewell to three employees who retired from service on February 28, 2026.
The retiring officials were felicitated by Chairman-cum-Managing Director Harish Duhan in the presence of Director (Technical/Operations) N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Personnel) Biranchi Das, Director (Planning/Projects) Ramesh Chandra Mahapatra, along with department heads, labour union representatives, officers, and employees. The ceremony was held at the CMD Chamber of SECL Headquarters, Bilaspur.
The three retiring employees honored on the occasion were:

They were presented with shawls, coconuts, and floral garlands as tokens of respect, along with cheques covering all their retirement benefits.
In their addresses, the top management acknowledged the dedication and efficiency of the retiring officials, stating that their contributions played a significant role in taking SECL to new heights of success. The management extended best wishes for their bright future and a happy family life.
The retiring employees expressed gratitude to the company, stating that serving SECL had been a matter of pride. They highlighted the spirit of teamwork within the organization, emphasizing that officers and staff work shoulder to shoulder and discharge every responsibility with sincerity and commitment.
The programme was smoothly conducted by Savita Nirmalkar, Manager (Official Language), who also introduced the retiring employees during the ceremony.
