SJVN 38th AGM; Final Dividend Approved & Record Generation Reported
Shimla, September 1, 2026: SJVN Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise, today held its 38th Annual General Meeting through Video Conferencing / Other Audio-Visual Means from its Corporate Headquarters in Shimla.
The meeting was addressed by Chairman & Managing Director Sh. Bhupender Gupta in the presence of Director (Personnel) Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Finance) Sh. Parthajit De, Director (Projects) Sh. Rajesh Kumar Chandel, and other Board members and government nominees.

Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (1,500 MW) crossed the historic milestone of 150 billion units of cumulative generation and achieved a Plant Availability Factor of 96.84%

Rampur HEP (412 MW) recorded its highest-ever generation of 2,108 MU

Naitwar Mori HEP (60 MW) generated 310.36 MU, exceeding design energy by ~17%
Financial Performance

Consolidated total revenue rose to ₹4,722.81 crore (from ₹3,376.50 crore)

Major Project Milestones

Bikaner Solar Power Project (1,000 MW) achieved full commercial operation and crossed 1 billion units of cumulative generation

Buxar Thermal Power Project Unit-I (660 MW) achieved commercial operation — marking SJVN’s entry into large-scale thermal generation

Significant progress recorded at Arun-3 HEP (900 MW) in Nepal, Sunni Dam (382 MW), Luhri Stage-I (210 MW) and Dhaulasidh HEP (69.5 MW)

Update for FY 2026-27
SJVN has already commissioned the 75 MW Jamui Solar Power Project in Bihar, taking the company’s operational capacity to 4,271.50 MW.
CMD Sh. Bhupender Gupta expressed gratitude to the Government of India, State Governments, shareholders and employees, and reaffirmed SJVN’s commitment to India’s target of 500 GW non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030 and Net-Zero emissions by 2070.
