SJVN Director Meets Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister to Discuss Hydro Projects

SJVN Limited’s Director (Projects) Sh. Rajesh Kumar Chandel called on Himachal Pradesh CM Sh. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to discuss progress of 210 MW Luhri-I, 382 MW Sunni Dam and 66 MW Dhaulasidh Hydro Projects.

Shimla, July 7, 2026: Sh. Rajesh Kumar Chandel, Director (Projects), SJVN Limited, met Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today.

MLA Sujanpur, Captain Ranjeet Singh Rana, was also present during the meeting.

Sh. Chandel updated the Chief Minister about the progress of three important hydro power projects:

  • 210 MW Luhri-I Hydro Electric Project

  • 382 MW Sunni Dam Hydro Electric Project

  • 66 MW Dhaulasidh Hydro Electric Project

He also discussed key issues related to these projects that need government support for faster resolution. Sh. Chandel requested the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s help to resolve these matters quickly.

This meeting highlights SJVN’s focus on timely completion of its ongoing hydro projects in Himachal Pradesh.
