Make in India (MII) Purchase Preference

This tender complies strictly with the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order. Participation is restricted to Class 1 local suppliers (minimum 50% local content) and Class 2 local suppliers (minimum 20% local content). Non-local suppliers are not eligible to participate. The delivery location is roughly 150 km ahead of Shimla and 285 km from the nearest broad-gauge railhead at Kalka. Bidders are advised to factor in weather conditions and Himalayan road restrictions when preparing logistics timelines, as materials must only be dispatched through a Registered Common Carrier.
