IAF #MiG21 fighter aircraft crashed, fell on a house in Bahlol Nagar; three dead

1. Indian Air Force's MiG-21 fighter aircraft #crashed on routine operational training

A MiG-21 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed today morning at about 9:45 am, said a release by the Ministry of Defence. The accident happened on a routine operational training from the Air Force Station at Suratgarh. Soon thereafter, the pilot experienced an onboard emergency.

The aircraft wreckage fell on a house in Bahlol Nagar in Hanumangarh District, unfortunately leading to the loss of three lives. The IAF regrets the loss of lives and offers its deepest condolences to the bereaved families. A Court of Inquiry has been constituted to ascertain the cause of the accident.
