BEL Navi Mumbai Recruitment 2025: Trainee & Project Engineer Walk-in

NAVI MUMBAI – Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a premier Navaratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has released a recruitment notification (Advt No: 170004/HR/NAMU/TEPE/2025/01) for the engagement of engineers on a temporary basis for its Navi Mumbai Unit.

The company is seeking dynamic and result-oriented engineers in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines for the positions of Trainee Engineer-I and Project Engineer-I.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility

The recruitment drive focuses on temporary roles with the following requirements:

• Trainee Engineer-I (Mechanical): 04 Posts

  • Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc (4-year course) in Mechanical.

  • Experience: 0–1 year of industrial experience.

  • Age Limit: 28 years (as of 01.12.2025).

• Project Engineer-I (Mechanical & Electrical): 02 Posts

  • Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc (4-year course) in relevant discipline.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification industrial experience.

  • Age Limit: 32 years (as of 01.12.2025).

Remuneration and Tenure

For Trainee Engineer-I: Engaged initially for two years (extendable to three).

• Year 1: Rs. 30,000/- pm

• Year 2: Rs. 35,000/- pm

• Year 3: Rs. 40,000/- pm

• Additional: Rs. 12,000/- per year for insurance and allowances.

For Project Engineer-I: Engaged for up to four years.

• Stipend: Starts at Rs. 40,000/- pm, rising to Rs. 55,000/- pm by the 4th year.

• Retention Bonus: Rs. 1,00,000/- payable upon completion of the full 4-year tenure.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in Navi Mumbai through a structured process:

• Trainee Engineer: A written test of 100 marks (with negative marking).

• Project Engineer: A written test followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates (1:5 ratio).
